It did what it said and it was simple to use. I got to what I wanted to use it for right away without any undue research. Bravo!

For a free App, this is good to get started with Mind Maps. Easy to use and useful. I would recomend it.

I use it for almost every report now. It takes the stress off remembering details and it works flawlessly. I use the iOS premium version and back up over wifi to the free Mac version.

Simple mind free is good tool for making mind map. The UI design is beautiful. And the usability is smilar with other mind map tools. If i will request this tool to developer, I have two thing. One is about source node. Now, the tool allows single source node. But, Sometime i want to sprit the tree to two different tree in single page. And second one is about compatibility with other tool. SimpleMind free is good tool, when i use only on MacOSX. However, sometime i want to use same file on other computer through the cloud strage. When the time, I have no way to export and inport the files into/from other computers….. (this is sad point.) However, by total view, this tool is well developed.

Very simple and useful interface. Design theme are cool. One touch share between Mac and iPhone is pretty nice. Totally very marvelous and useful. Only one request is auto-layout and moving all branches with their parent. Sometimes it’s time consuming that layouting branches manually and that moving branches manually. It’s perfectly nice that this function is property of each branches. So please please add this function to pro-version. Then I must buy pro-version. Cheers

very usuful to build a kick off project. no more rubber eraser or pens but go over project many time. Thanks for user friendly. However, too much functions I believe. I havent used 60% of the new functions. having said this, very good apps for study and reserch.

In short: Very intuitive and easy to use, so far I’m not missing any funcionality. Long description: It’s my first steps with mind map software - I have decided to give it a try after seeing a friend of mine using MM software which is 17EUR. I have downloaded 3 differents MM apps which were for free - two of them were a nightmere to use - the Simple Mind Free has blown them up - a clear UX (user interface), intuitive and so easy for use. It was exactly what I was looking for (please note I’m not an advanced user of Mind Maps idea..). Thanks for the SimpleMind team for a great job and sharing it for free on the appstore!

The application is simple and friendly to the user. As a sociologist I use it for diagramming the categories in the analyses of qualitative data (mapping). I recommend the students to use it not only for arranging the thoughts but also for analysing the emprical, qualitative data (e.g. data from unstructured interviews). Wonderful application!

It’s free! I have found this app very useful for keeping track of and developing ideas. I do however intend to purchase a more comprehensive tool in the near future but for the moment this has been an extremely usefull app and EASY to use. Oh yea, did I mention it was free?

Yes, the free version is great… but the power of this tool is found in the paid version. It’s worth every penny. I use SimpleMind to study with. Breaking down chapters of text by using the hyperlink capacity in the paid version allows me to dig deeper into my understanding of the relationship of ideas. SimpleMind helps me map out those relationships. I also use it in combination with OmniFocus 2 Pro to break components of projects into pieces where I can see them. I’m very visual and SimpleMInd offers a perspective I haven’t found in other software. Lastly, the support is fantastic. Fast and reliable. Good people stand behind this app!

Fairly easy to use and start plugging through. Options for saving images is limited which I can deal with and perhaps that is included in a paid version.
